Looking over Namsam park, Seoul, on a warm April evening.
One day I’m going to live in Seoul. I’m looking forward to that.

On Thursday night, Sara, Jono and I ventured to the Thames foreshore underneath the Millenium Bridge to watch the ‘SUPER SPECTACULAR LASER AND LIGHT SHOW’ to inaugurate the Shard. West Europe’s newest (and tallest) skyscraper, topping out at 1016ft.

We were all set for an evening of epic lasers and stuff, but what we got was about 6 lasers and a couple of spotlights. Wasn’t really worth all the effort, but it was a nice night none the less.

A couple look out from Namsam Park in Seoul into the city tonight (24/04).
I went up to the N Seoul Tower tonight, it’s beautiful. I love it here, I think I have to live here. I spent a good 45 minutes leisurely walking back down the hill stumbling across pretty sights like this.

Watford is a dark dark place. on Flickr.I came back to Watford last night for the Easter holidays. I’d forgotten about the councils money saving scheme which means that virtually all street lights are turned off at about midnight, leaving only illuminated road signs and about one street light every 500 metres piercing the darkness.
It’s like being in the olden days and all that.

With China to the north and west, South Korea to the inevitable south, and Japan to the east…
And North Korea is in the dark.
